I don't know if I chose glass, or it chose me. I met the world of hand blown glass in a rather dramatic way in the late 1960's when glassblowing was still new as a re-emerging craft. I have been working in blown glass now for over 30 years and I am still excited by and in awe of the inherent magic of the molten glass. I maintain a broad production line of perfume bottles, paperweights, vases and sculptual pieces and love the opportunity to do one of a kind pieces or commissioned work. I like to describe my work as a dance where I am partners with the glass. Besides selling my work all over the country I share my skills with others while teaching people of all ages to blow glass. My studio is open to the public and I welcome visitors to call and come for a visit to shop, see a demonstration, or have a glassblowing lesson.
