Pura Vida Essentials

This is our first year participating in the Putney Craft Tour, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this rich Putney Tradition!

Pura Vida Essentials was created in early 2001 in Putney Vermont. After the birth of my first child, I struggled to find natural products that were both safe for my child's sensitive skin AND affordable.

I began by creating Organic Calendula Salve, perfect for stretch marks, diaper rash, soothing sore and swollen bug bites, and everything in between.

Since then, Pura Vida Essentials has grown to provide over 35 different products in 50 custom blended scents. Many of our products are unscented as well.

Pura Vida specializes in essential oils, handcrafted soaps, massage and body oils, hydrating body mist, lip balm, a wide variety of products for the bath, including bath fizzies and bubble baths. Our best sellers include our freshly whipped body butters made with evening primrose oil, jojoba oil and organic shea butter. Our tried and true products: bug dope, calendula salve made with organic calendula flowers grown on site; and our organic arnica oil.

In business now for over 20 years, it is still a source of pride that all Pura Vida Products are handmade in Putney Vermont in small batches to insure quality.
